Tunlar Agency opened for business in 2019 and provides valuable services to our Local Community, throughout the Northeast Region, and across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. We've been building and growing along the way, and have two full-time Notary Agents on staff: Ann Cosgrove, Owner & Insurance Producer; and Nancy Staton, Title Service Director. 

Tunlar Agency offers DMV Title & Tag Licensing Services; Notary Services for titles, forms, and document sets; support services such as copy & fax; and a selection of Insurance Products. We're open year-round, Monday through Saturday. Many of our services are online and instant, meaning you'll leave with proof of insurance, a valid registration card, proof of title application, and a license plate, when possible. Certain types of work must be manually submitted.

Tunlar Agency is an Authorized Agent with the PA Department of Transportation, PA Fish & Boat Commission, PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, and as a PennDOT TA Agent for Apportioned Heavy Truck Registration. We offer insurance quotes with Safeco/Liberty Mutual, Progressive, Foremost/Farmers, Hagerty Insurance, Windsor Mount Joy Mutual, and many other fine companies. 

Ann's career path has been centered around the shores of Lake Wallenpaupack where she grew up, worked through school to help support family, and worked at her father's business, Lake Region Insurance, Inc., & Lakeview Realty, Inc. dba Wallenpaupack Realty - for over 16 years until 2002. 

...when somebody tells you they wouldn't change a thing - believe them...

During that time, Ann obtained her real estate agent license; achieved a life, accident & health insurance license; and obtained a property & casualty insurance license. Insurance has always been her passion, and she has assisted many local residents throughout the region while working in agency service, as an underwriter, a producer, and agency owner.

In 2003, Ann purchased Paupack Insurance Agency, INC., and was the owner until 2009, growing the business over a short period of time while providing beneficial insurance coverage for customers, and gainful employment for a local resident/staff member. A fire destroyed the office location in 2008, but we picked up the pieces, quickly established a new office space, and business continued after a brief interruption. Ann worked in various insurance agency roles over the the next 10 years, and created the idea for Tunlar Agency, which finally came to fruition in 2019. Since then, it's been full speed ahead, with Nancy Staton joining as a full-time staff member in 2023. 

After college, and as part of a military family, Nancy has lived in many locations across the U.S., finally settling into Northeast Pa. Her career with the automotive title and tag industry began locally, while working with Cork's Used Cars, and at Lightning Auto. She gained valuable insight on motor vehicle transfers, and vehicle registration procedures. She furthered her career while working with Kathys License for over 10 years, assisting customers with Title, Registration, and Notary Services for school vehicles, emergency services, and apportioned work. She gained valuable knowledge of complex title transactions while working with all types of vehicles, trailers, boats, atv's, antiques, and snowmobiles. 

Nancy has been a Notary Agent for many years and provides Mobile Notary Services by appointment.

The logo for Tunlar Agency has changed a few times through the years, as we continue to grow and build our brand and name. Through it all - and at the core - we stayed the course, stayed focused, embraced new ideas, accepted failures, followed our dreams, kept the Faith, and let creativity unfold. We want a fun, professional, and engaging office environment. Within that space - and with the resources available - it's been slowly happening!

We are grateful to you - the incredible customers, colleagues, and business partners - that have allowed our dreams to develop. Proof that no matter your age, or situation, with core ethics, determination, hard work, and faith - anything is possible. This was a venture started with very little operating capital, going into a wide open void, temporarily setback by the pandemic, and continuing forward with unwavering belief. 

As we begin 2026, and the journey toward our 8th year, we look forward to making new partnerships, continuing our growth, and providing valuable services to our local community at Lake Wallenpaupack, throughout the Pocono Lake Region, and across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
